[...] the Bombay industrial Relations Act did not apply to the Baroda District because the notification extending the application of the Bombay Industrial Disputes Act to the cotton textile industry in the Province of Bombay was inconsistent with the provisions of the Bombay industrial Relations Act. [...] As a result of this sub-paragraph (2) the original notification issued by the Goverment of Bombay extending the application of the Bombay Industrial Disputes Act to the cotton textile industry in the Province of Bombay has thus been amended by the addition of the words and the Baroda State.'
